QB Experience
“I applied to Brandeis specifically for the QB program. I finished my BSc in Physics, and was interested in applying my skills in an interdisciplinary field, especially biology. Being a part of the QB program enabled me to be in close contact with fellow students and scientists who are interested in similar areas of research. Being able to communicate my science to my colleagues from different fields is what I owe most to this program.”

MRSEC Research in the Kondev Lab
“Cells contain a variety of organelles, some of which are tightly regulated in terms of their size. These sizes often play a non-trivial role in their functions. I am interested in understanding how cells use a variety of size-sensing proteins to control the size of these organelles. In the Kondev group, we use statistical and computational tools to answer such questions, while working in close collaboration with experimentalists.”
